April update

This update focused on two things: helping new businesses get through the sign-up process faster, and reducing manual work once you’re up and running. Here’s what has been released and what is being rolled out now.
Sign your UBO declaration during sign-up
When opening a business account, you are legally required to declare who the legal owners of your company are. Until now, you had to first request an official extract from the Chamber of Commerce before you could complete your application. We now generate this declaration automatically based on the details you enter during sign-up. You check it, sign it digitally, and carry on — no external documents needed.
Remind a cardholder to submit a receipt
With GoDutch, you can issue business payment cards to employees and track their spending. Has a team member not yet submitted a receipt for a card payment? Send them a reminder directly from the app. One tap, and the cardholder automatically receives an email to submit the receipt.

Getting started checklist on your dashboard
After opening your account, GoDutch shows a short checklist on your dashboard to help you get going quickly — such as topping up your balance, issuing a card or linking an expense category. Each task takes less than a minute and disappears once completed. It helps you quickly get value from the product, without having to work out where to begin.
Clearer bookkeeping exports
With GoDutch, you export your transactions for your accountant or bookkeeping software. Exports now bundle each transaction together with the associated receipt in one clear file. That way your accountant has everything in one place, and there’s no more downloading transactions and receipts separately, or manually matching them up.

Pay multiple invoices at once
From now on, process your outstanding invoices in one go. Select the payments you want to make, review them in the summary screen and confirm the whole batch with a single authorisation. No separate approval per invoice anymore.
Handy for anyone who pays multiple suppliers every week: you choose which invoices to include, check the amounts and recipients, and pay everything at once. After authorisation, you can see the status of each payment straight away. You’ll find it in Bill Pay under your outstanding payments.

Export bank statements as CAMT.053 and SEPA XML

You can now export your account data as a CAMT.053 file: the standard format that banks and accounting packages in Europe use for statements. You upload the file into your accounting software, and the reconciliation runs automatically. No manual entry, no errors from retyping.

Bill Pay puts an end to that. Upload an invoice and GoDutch reads it: supplier name, amount, IBAN. The payment is ready for you. You check it, you confirm it, done.

Every GoDutch account gets its own email address. Send your invoices there, or give it to your suppliers so they can submit them directly. Invoices come in, we read them, the payment is ready.
