How do I open an account with GoDutch?
You can easily open an account via our website. During the registration process, we will ask you to provide some information and complete an identity verification, which usually takes a few minutes. In some cases, we may ask you to upload additional documents to complete the registration.
Can I open an account with GoDutch?
Your organisation is eligible to open an account if:
Your head office is located in the European Economic Area
You are one of the following legal entities:
Company
Freelancer
Sole trader
Foundation
Association
Homeowners' Association
Our partner Swan restricts activities in the following sectors:
Substance-related activities
• Tobacco cultivation and products • Manufacture of tobacco products • Marijuana cultivation and illicit marijuana products
Financial and regulatory risk activities
• Shell banks • Trust and offshore service providers • Corporate domiciliation companies • Unlicensed money service businesses and payment service providers • Crypto-asset trading, exchange and custody platforms • Crypto-currency mixing activity • Money transmitters • Currency dealer and changers, FOREX
High environmental impact industries
• Extractive industries such as oil, gas and coal, including extraction, processing, trading and other related activities • Nuclear material and power generation • Palm oil production • Polluting or hazardous industrial chemicals
Controversial or sensitive activities
• Weapons and defence equipment suppliers • Prostitution and escort services • Adult entertainment (pornography or similar activities)
Gaming and entertainment
• Gambling industry, including video games classified as online gambling • Game publisher of online games allowing value transfers between gamers • Online exchange services

How long does it take to process my application?
Als de documenten compleet en correct zijn, is je aanvraag tijdens kantooruren doorgaans binnen 1 dag verwerkt. In sommige gevallen kan het langer duren als er extra onderzoek nodig is. Als aanvullende informatie vereist is, nemen wij contact met je op.
