ASN Bank business account packages

ASN Bank offers two business current account packages: ASN Betalen Zelfstandigen and ASN Zakenrekening. Each package is designed for a specific target group and has its own terms and features.

ASN Payments for the Self-Employed

ASN Betalen Zelfstandigen is a current account for self-employed entrepreneurs with a sole proprietorship or a private limited company (bv) with one director-major shareholder (DGA), without employees. The account is intended exclusively for individual use; adding authorised users is not possible. Business banking is managed via ASN Online Banking or the ASN app. Want an alternative? Then view the GoDutch account for self-employed professionals.

This package includes 1,000 transactions per year, with the exception of payment requests. Once this number is exceeded, a fee of €0.15 applies per additional transaction. There are no charges for the debit card or the use of internet banking. For customer due diligence, ASN Bank charges €1.50 per month for sole proprietorships and €5.00 per month for private limited companies. It is not permitted to have an overdraft; if this does happen, for example due to a direct debit, debit interest will be charged.

ASN Business Account

The ASN Business Account is aimed at businesses with a legal structure such as a sole proprietorship, general partnership (vof), professional partnership, or private limited company (bv), and a workforce of up to 49 employees. Up to eight people can be granted access to the account, including co-owners, a bookkeeper, or an accountant. Mobile banking via the ASN app is possible, provided that no more than one digipas is linked to the account.

The monthly fee is €10.70. For customer due diligence, a contribution of €1.50 per month applies to sole proprietorships, vofs, and professional partnerships, and €5.00 for private limited companies (bvs). Transaction costs vary by type of action: standard credits and debits cost €0.09 per transaction, while batch payments or conventional giro transfers carry higher rates. For payment requests, €0.15 is charged per credit entry.

Opening an ASN Business Account is done online. This requires, among other things, a valid proof of identity, a Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number, and recent financial data. Companies in sectors such as hospitality, construction, real estate, or holdings with operating companies in these sectors, as well as private limited companies with multiple UBOs, are currently unable to open a business account with ASN Bank.
