HEERENVEEN – There are only a few specific speed skating titles Sven Kramer could add to his list of wins (he holds now 16 gold medals) but he is mostly targeting extending his current Dutch, European, and World Allround Championships. He just recently took the European allround title for the fourth consecutive time! He is also the reigning world champion and world record holder in the 5,000 m, 10,000 m and the team pursuit (the latter alongside Wouter Olde Heuvel and Erben Wennemars). Currently, he is second in the Adelskalender (ranking list of personal records) behind Shani Davis as of March 7, 2009 but before the Shani Davis win, Kramer was first in the Adelskalender. Kramer is the son of former speedskater Yep and an older brother to Brecht, is also a skater.
