Dutch landscapers to fight weeds with steaming hot water

Tags: Excerpts from the Windmill

CROMVOIRT A common desire to find environment-friendly weed control solutions has pushed several Dutch landscapers to join forces in researching and building new equipment. Aquavince is an environmentally safe machine which fights weeds and grass growing between brick-layered roads and squares with application of steaming hot water (at 98 degrees Celcius). No such equipment was available on the market and was designed and built on behalf of the landscapers. The innovation is chemical free and is carbon neutral as well. The entrepreneurs plan to put their prototype into production soon for distribution to the industry.
