THE HAGUE - A new, national anti-terrorism campaign urges citizens to be alert and thus diminish the potential for terror attacks against or within the Netherlands. The campaign is supported by television and radio info-mercials, door-to-door pamphlet distribution and a new website. According to the government, over 200,000 professionals are at work each and every day to help lessen the possibilities of such attacks. The campaign also explains what citizens can do to help. This includes being alert in crowds, keeping an eye on belongings, report hatemongering websites and call police about any suspicious activity. The campaign came about through an increasing number of requests for information, not because of specific or greater risks.
