THE HAGUE – The smallest city in the Netherlands, Madurodam, cut through red tape fast to complete in record time its new highspeed railway line South, overtaking its live size cousin that is being built – with numerous delays - to connect Amsterdam with Paris. Frequently, architects and builders will donate scale models for display and free exposure in the highly popular miniature city Madurodam, as part of their marketing and public relations objectives. The city is home to numerous well-known and landmark buildings found in all parts of the country.
