EGMOND AAN ZEE – Accomplished North American players of the Dutch shuffleboard game have missed out this year on the world title Six Pack sjoelen. Only players from Belgium, Germany, Japan and Surinam competed with Dutch entrants for the grand prize: world championship. Both winners were Dutch: Dick Eilers kept the title he first won last year, Jacqueline Heijnis moved up a notch from last year’s second place to claim this year’s top title. Particularly the lady’s ‘race’ turned out to be highly contested and suspenseful till the end.
