ZWOLLE – The Interchurch Foundation for the Church Song (ISK), which works for the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, has gained two new members, the Netherlands Reformed Churches (NGK) and the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands-liberated (GKNv). The ISK has a mandate to produce a new hymnal by 2012. The GKNv have abandoned plans to produce its own new Gereformeerd Liedboek. Nearly seventy church musicians, theologians and liturgists are compiling the hymnal, an effort that was started in May 2008.
