MAASTRICHT, the Netherlands - Guests of the Hotel Derlon in this southernmost Dutch provincial capital from now on can opt to stay in the André Rieu suite, named after the world renowned Limburg orchestra leader and violinist. Recently, the musician gave his approval to the top-class hospitality unit concept.

Rieu, whose Fall tour through the U.S. has been sold out already, was the first guest to occupy the Derlon suite named in his honour. It is unlikely that the hotel charged him for his stay but guests have to pay the 550 euros for a night at the André Rieu suite, the equivalent of US$690.

Very recently, Rieu released his newest CD ‘New York Memories,’ which contains a bonus DC with the Harlem Gospel Choir.

Rieu and his orchestra are planning another U.S./Canada tour in April and May 2007, with venues along the eastern seaboard, from Ottawa and Montreal and Norfolk, to Orlando and Tampa, Florida.
